Wonderful, restful getaway in an immaculate, cozy space. The hosts thought of everything and anything you could possibly need. We got lucky with perfect weather and we’re able to enjoy the patio and even a bon fire. The lake is just across the street and we loved seeing the barges pass by. Appreciate the use of the golf cart. Highly recommend. Great place to regroup from the fast pace of life.

There is no way to be disappointed with this place. It is immaculate, and the hosts spared no effort to ensure guests are comfortable. Stayed here twice and have bragged about it over and over again.

Wonderful as always!! This suite is absolutely beautiful & so clean! Perfect for a couples getaway. We try to stay every year for our anniversary & we love it! It has the amenities we need & is close to everything we want to do. So close to the lake & Patti’s Settlement Restaurant. We love this location & will be back! Definitely deserves 5 star rating!

We stayed for one night and really appreciated the cozy, clean space. The hosts provided thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, a cute patio with a fire pit, and a golf cart that made getting around easy.Unfortunately, our short getaway—something we were really looking forward to for some peace—was disrupted by an uncomfortable and accusatory text from the owner. After approaching us while watering flowers on our patio, the owner later texted us saying, “We are going to have an issue with the skunk smell coming from downstairs if the room smells as bad or worse than the hallway… You will be charged for the room sanitizing or their cancellation if that happens.”We strictly followed the house rules and had only briefly passed through the hallway after returning from being away. We even offered to let the owner check the room during our stay to confirm there were no issues. Despite this, the interaction left us feeling unfairly judged and uncomfortable.Sadly, this put a damper on what should have been a peaceful evening. We didn’t feel comfortable enjoying the patio or fire pit as we had hoped and left feeling like our short getaway had been interrupted. The space itself was lovely, but the experience made us hesitant to return.
