Take it easy Enjoy your own oasis getaway! Two properties on one space to choose from: Tree top Getaway & The Zen House at this unique and tranquil getaway.
One bedroom apartment in the top unit of the back house. Enjoy the best place on the land in the huge screened in lanai up in the trees. This apartment has a front porch that is perfect to watch the sun rise. The kitchen includes everything you need to make a meal including pots and pans and seasonings. There is a cute built in area to enjoy dinner or play a game. The bathroom is very small, but the shower has amazing water pressure! The back of Lanai has a meditation area with a fountain, yoga mats, and an entertainment area with a 65” tv.
Gulfport is a small town with a colorful, hippy vibe. What I love about Gulfport is the mix of people and everyone is welcome. 4 blocks east of the property is downtown Gulfport. Downtown you will find a pier for fishing and a beach area. There are many places to sit and watch for dolphins as well as a small outdoor fitness area next to the water. Downtown has waterfront restaurants, a brewery, coffee shops and shopping.
A few blocks west of the property is Gulfport Marina and Calm Bayou Park. We have a special relationship with Dolphin water tours. 2 hour dolphin tours are available. Last minute tours may be booked at a discounted rate! Clam Bayou park has walking trails and decks on the water. This is the best spot to watch the sunset!
Gulfport is an amazing place to explore. Close by we have St Pete Beach and Treasure Island Beach (appx 14 min) Spend a day at the beach and enjoy waterfront restaurants and the Level 11 Rooftop bar at St Pete Beach. For nightlife we have St Petersburg downtown. (appx 15 min)

I have enjoyed living in Gulfport for the past 3 months. I have attended many yoga events, reiki sessions, meditations and sound bowl healings. My life has slowed down, my A.D.D has almost disappeared and most importantly, I am able to enjoy the present. The place is super cute! The bed is very comfortable and the lanai is awesome. It’s a 10ish minute walk to get downtown which isn’t terrible. If you’re not feeling like walking, a golf cart is available to rent which we did not use but was nice to know we could if we needed to.
It’s mentioned in the listing that the bathroom is small. I am not a large person and I had to turn sideways to even get into the bathroom. Something to keep in mind when booking.
We had some outlet issues while there that I let Lauren know about and she offered to have an electrician come right away. It wasn’t a big enough inconvenience for us to have someone come out right away but I was appreciative of her offer. She was also very accommodating when I let her know our flight was late afternoon and asked if we could leave luggage which was no problem.

Great location! The apartment was beautifully decorated, well lit, and very clean. The option to rent a golf cart was a nice touch, and the process was quick and easy. Lauren was kind, responsive, and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Fun little property for a weekend getaway!

This is a garage apartment in Gulfport Florida. If you don’t know Gulfport, it’s grown into kind of a funky artist community. But the area where this apartment is located still has the old working class vibe that I remember. Shops and restaurants are not a short walk away. You’ll probably want to drive.The space is very cute and cozy, and privacy is decent. It has lots of light during the day. There is no central air-conditioning, so you have to deal with the noise from two wall units. I found that the wall unit in the living room was adequate to cool the entire space at night, so I could turn off the wall unit next to the bed. The bathroom is very very small. Wiring is a little haphazard, but I think the owner made the best of it. Finding the back entrance could be a little tricky, and there is only space for one car. I stayed by myself and think it would be pretty crowded for four people. I liked it overall. I just don’t think it’s worth 200 a night.
