Rose Ridge was built at the end of 2019 and is located on 25 wooded acres within walking distance of Old Man's Cave. The cabin has 8 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms. The well equipped kitchen has a table for everyone to eat together and prepare meals. There are also tables on the deck to enjoy a meal or visit with friends and family in a peaceful wooded setting. Rose Ridge features 2 wood burning fireplaces. One is inside surrounded by cozy furniture and a 60" tv. The other fireplace is outside on the deck. There is plenty of space to gather together or enjoy your privacy. There are many activities for all ages including tvs with Directv and dvd players, a variety of dvds, a pool table, board games, fire pit, and a corn hole game. We try to make it cozy so you'll feel like home. We also own Vrbo 1883965, 1938288, 2702910, 2963411 & 3060533 (Property certificate #00358) The base rate includes 12 guests and each additional person is $25/night.

Perfect for family reunions! The only slight issue is the placement of the fire pit is a little too close to the septic system, making it a bit unpleasant to enjoy roasting marshmallows in the evenings. Having two refrigerators for our large party was a huge plus!

Check in process was very easy and the cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had a group of 16 (9 adults and 7 children) and the cabin was perfect for our group and we even had 1 extra bedroom that we used for the baby. The kitchen had everything we needed and extras of most things. The kids really enjoyed the game room and playing on the wrap-around porch. The hot tub was a big plus and was very clean. The huge dining area allowed us all to eat in one location and when we wanted to, there was plenty of outdoor seating to eat outside as well. The firepit was a huge hit in the evenings after we had returned from hiking. The cabin was beyond our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job prior to our arrival and are to be commended for such an outstanding job. It is a good idea to haul the trash to the dumpster each evening, so the wildlife doesn't get into it. Julie was an outstanding host and supplied us with any info that we needed.

The cabin is great however a couple of items that we feel need to be addressed:
The seating on the upstairs deck desperately need new cushions. This is a great area to gather and socialize however the poor seat cushions do not allow anyone to sit for very long. Also possibly consider adding a tv over the outdoor fireplace on the upper level.
Lawn care needs to get taken care of on a weekday or non- rental day. We were VERY disappointed that the lawn care company showed up on our only Sunday and were there for over an hour during lunch time!. If this were to happen again we WILL look for a new location.
Also, the dumpster is a bit too far away if the rental agreement is going to mandate that the renters are responsible for taking the trash to the dumpster. Fortunately for us we had family members with a truck and was able to drive it down.
