Woodland Retreat is the perfect Up North escape for families and friends who crave peace, space, and nature right outside the door. Nestled on 37 private acres, this beautifully updated 3-bedroom, 2-bath home offers the ideal mix of comfort and rustic charm — with a screened-in gazebo for outdoor dining, a cozy fire pit for evenings under the stars, and a gentle stream where you can relax on the swing or try your luck catching brook trout.

Inside, the home is bright, comfortable, and fully equipped for your stay. The open kitchen and dining area make it easy to gather for shared meals, while the spacious living room invites you to unwind after a day of exploring. Guests love the comfortable beds, beautiful décor, and thoughtful touches that make this home feel welcoming from the moment you arrive.

Families especially appreciate the flexibility of space — the main home sleeps six, and the bunkhouse offers extra privacy with a queen loft and twin bunk, perfect for older kids, grandparents, or friends. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy time together or find a quiet nook for reading or relaxing.

Step outside to enjoy woodland walks along the property’s private trail loop, watch wildlife from the deck, or toast marshmallows by the fire. You’ll feel completely tucked away, yet you’re just 10 minutes from Torch Lake, Bellaire, Alden, and Shanty Creek’s golf courses and ski slopes.

Guests call Woodland Retreat “peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained” — a place where families make lasting memories and always wish they could stay longer. Whether you’re fishing the stream, hiking with your dog, or simply soaking in the quiet, this serene property offers everything you need to truly unwind.
