Amazing stay all around! Host was super friendly and was eager to help! I would recommend staying here again. If you want a beautiful scenic view this is the place to come! Super clean, very well upkeep! Enjoyed everything about this place.. Hope to come back next year.

Jarrod is a friendly, caring and responsive host! The view is breathtaking and so beautiful with a wonderful porch and swing to enjoy. Only negative is the two straight chairs didn't work with my tall frame. It is exactly as pictured and I take responsibility for not noticing the lack of rocking chairs on the porch and for not asking in advance about somewhere to hand a hammock. (Jarrod is quick in responding and very helpful.)Internet access was wonderful and the streaming large TV was great to watch the ongoing World Cup matches.The VRBO listing is an accurate description of the cabin, so look at it thoroughly and decide if it is the right setting for you and your travelling party. Jarrod is upfront about the road in and out, and my wife made it clear she would not have driven the road.We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and appreciate having it as a nightly home.

View was good high up above Maggie Valley. Need 4 wheel drive or All wheel drive. My wife has already said she wants to go back

Does have a great view. Driving up to the cabin is doable in a front wheel drive car but you should take care. Very dog friendly and host friendly. Some windows and double doors missing blinds or suitable covering for privacy. One window in bedroom. Yes it's a the end of the road but you never know. If you cook the pans are in terrible shape and need replacing. The furniture needs serious cleaning/replacing. Rained during stay with no wind lost power for more than an hour to two hours. No backup lighting supplied, flashlight in kitchen did not work. Have to believe this occurs often due to home next door (host) has whole home generator. Could be a nice place with some attention.
