Perhaps it should have been reiterated a little better but I didn’t realize it was a completely separated duplex making it a bit of a hassle to keep having to go outside of each property to wake our kids up but overall, worked out fine. The floors were a little noisy as we could hear both sides walking. We were surprised with the lock of one of the patio doors not being able to lock but the managers fixed it the best they could very quickly. All issues were resolved within the day or at the latest by the next day so we were thankful for that. The amenities (pots and pans were minimal) and while I have a vacation rental and provide plastic wraps, etc, those were not provided. Laundry machine on our side smelled a bit moldy but that could be because people don’t leave the doors open to dry out the washing machine (maybe put a label to leave open?). We were missing a coffee table on our side but overall, all furniture was in working order. The location was conveniently located near the freeway and about 10-15 min from the airport with a convenience store right across the street. It was near a railroad so if you like absolute, quiet, this might not be your place. This place worked for our needs. Nothing fancy but is good if you’re just looking for a place to stay.

My group occupied both sides of the duplex. It is an older property but was very clean and up-to-date. Both units have a washer/dryer and a mini-dishwasher that attaches to the sink for water. There is a mini-mart across the street with excellent vino and spirits. This place served it's purpose fine for us. Ten minutes to SJO.
