From the rental, you can easily reach Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands in less than 30 minutes, visit the Piedmont coast (Arona, Meina, Stresa, Intra, Cannero, Cannobbio, Locarno, Lugano) and take the ferry from Intra (10-15 minutes drive from here) arriving after 20 minutes of navigation at Laveno Mombello, the Lombard coast (Laveno Mombello, Angera, Ranco, Ispra, Luino, Maccagno).
