As seniors, we had difficulty in going up and down the steps.

We had a wonderful stay! Home was charming and proximity to beach was wonderful. Thank you!

This was our first time in this property and I have to say that everything went down beautifully. Property was clean and well equipped, the owner was responsive and care about the client, safe, quiet, overall a great family trip/vacation spot. I would highly recommend to go Bay Beach rather than entering the private beach in the property since Bay Beach is full sand. Definitely recommend and will come back again in the future.

I spend sometime think about how to write this review after our stay. Let me start but saying the views from the deck were beautiful. We loved going to Crystal Beach itself especially because you could not swim in the lake off the private beach, which was one of the main reasons we chose this rental, due to sewage. When we arrived, we were met with an overwhelming smell of mold and mildew, so much so that we couldn’t be in the rental for more than 10 min without needing to go outside. So we opened all the windows, turned on some fans and went to dinner hoping it just needed aired out. When we returned it was somewhat better. As I didn’t want to ruin my daughter 13th birthday trip,we decided to stay. I did have trouble sleeping in the back left room as I’m sensitive to mold, so I took some allergy medicine and slept on the couch. As we woke up the next day, we realized the toilet was clogged and had to use the facilities at the park. The owner was quick to respond to my emails and had a handyman come out while we were gone for the day exploring Niagara. When we returned that evening, it was flushing, although slowly. By the next morning (last day of our stay), it was clogged again. I emailed the owner to let him know that the previous fix was temporary and he should look into getting it properly fixed in the future. So overall we did not let this ruin our trip and enjoyed the town and close proximity to Niagara.
