Charming studio apartment with small balcony in the beautiful neighborhood of Ortigia in Syracuse.
The apartment consists of an entrance hallway, furnished with a large open kitchen with stools equipped with an oven, kettle and coffee maker; a little further on the room opens onto a space furnished with a queen-size bed, television, single armchair bed, desk and chair perfect for work days.
Finally, a bathroom with shower and a small balcony overlooking the building's entrance alley, which gives extreme brightness to the house, complete the layout.
*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parkings and enjoying the old town on foot.
*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.
For lovers of relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything you could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and going south, the best equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name comes from the natural freshwater springs and the particular white color of the sand. Inside the island of Ortigia, moreover, you will find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach named Cala Rossa. Moving further south, about 30 km away, we find beautiful unspoiled and impervious beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Wildlife Oasis and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, definitely see the Greek theater of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and also the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural as well as scenic beauty.
