THE HOST EXPERIENCE
We keep this space clean, stocked, and ready. Quick to respond, easy to work with. Our goal is that you leave wishing you'd stayed longer — and that Detroit surprises you the same way it surprises everyone who actually spends time here.

The food scene, the music, the murals, the people. Detroit earns it.

GUEST ACCESS
The entire apartment is yours — all to yourself. You'll have full, private access to both bedrooms, the full kitchen, bathroom, living space, in-unit washer and dryer, and all amenities from the moment you check in to the moment you check out. No shared spaces, no other guests, no interruptions — just your own private home in the heart of Midtown Detroit. The building's elevator and common areas are also available for your use. Check yourself in anytime after 3:00 PM with your personal keyless entry code, and settle in at your own pace. This space is completely yours to enjoy.

We're here for you — anytime, day or night. While we respect your privacy and give you full space to enjoy your stay, we're always just a message away. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
A few extra details to make sure your stay is seamless from the start:

Historic Building
Kirby Manor is a 100-year-old landmark building. While it has been beautifully renovated, guests should expect the charming character that comes with historic architecture — including the sounds of an older building. We think it adds to the experience!

Heating & Cooling
The unit is equipped with heating and cooling for year-round comfort. Detroit winters can be cold and summers can be warm — rest assured you'll be comfortable either way.

WiFi
Fast, reliable WiFi is included. Details will be provided upon check-in. Perfect for remote workers, travel nurses, and streamers alike.

Noise & Neighbors
Kirby Manor is a living, breathing residential community. Long-term neighbors call this building home, so we ask that all guests remain mindful and respectful of the shared spaces — hallways, elevator, and building entrance.

Luggage & Early Arrivals
If you arrive before check-in time (3:00 PM), we unfortunately cannot guarantee early access to the unit. Please plan accordingly. If you'd like to request early check-in, message us in advance and we'll do our best to make it happen.

Starter Supplies
We provide a starter set of essentials — toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, toiletries, and basic kitchen supplies — to get you settled in. For longer stays, guests are responsible for restocking supplies as needed.

Exact Address
The exact address will be shared after your booking is confirmed, as per Airbnb's privacy policy.

Emergency Services
In the event of an emergency, always call 911 first. For non-emergency property issues, contact us directly and we will respond promptly.

Security Cameras
There are exterior security cameras at the building entrance and common areas for the safety and security of all guests and residents. There are absolutely no cameras inside the unit.

A Note from Your Host
We put real care into this space and we want you to love it. If anything isn't quite right when you arrive, please message us immediately — we will always make it right. We want nothing less than a 5-star experience for every single guest who walks through our door. Detroit is a special city and we're proud to share it with you. Thank you for choosing Kirby Manor.
