This place was perfect. I couldn’t get in with the code at first. Called the owner, they immediately opened the door for me. They texted me the process to ensure it wasn’t my mistake only to realize it was before the check in time. They were very nice to let me in early. The porch is AWESOME. The location is tucked away but yet close to all the attractions. It’s a little on the older side but was perfect for our group. It felt comfortable and not too fancy. Watch out for the bears they were all over.

Great place to stay quietMany bear visits The drive/road is very narrow but passable

Love the property. Great communication and quick response from host. Not far from townBear sightings around the area but no problems

We have stayed in several cabins in Gatlinburg and were excited to try this location in our search for bears. And we did see bears close to the cabin and in other locations on our trip. So that was a great success. Walter was a great host and very responsive but our stay should have been nicer. We found the house was not very clean. Furniture needs to be updated as it showed lots of wear and tear in the living room. The spaces in the house were very small. The washer / dryer room was ridiculously small... no human could actually fit in that room. The upstairs spare room had a hole in the ceiling. The outdoor jacuzzi was not clean and when we tried the indoor jacuzzi in the downstairs bathroom, dirt literally flew out of the nozzles as if it hadn't been used or cleaned in months. Despite how great Walter was, this was not a great experience for us. I hate leaving negative reviews but I also don't want others to have a negative experience. This was not a 5-star or even 4-star experience.
