Lovely apartment situated on the outskirts of Bo'ness. Perfect for visiting Bo'ness and ideally situated to explore the wider central belt with easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Falkirk.
On the first floor (not ground floor), this home is modern and well-appointed, with lounge/dining room, and a separate kitchen. There is plenty of space for up to four guests, with a king-size bed in one bedroom and a double bed in the other.
The whole house is yours and there is a designated parking space.
Bo’ness is a historic town with an industrial heritage. It has two major supermarkets and numerous food outlets; both sit in and take away.
The John Muir Way passes through the town and is popular with long and short distance walkers. Roman remains can be seen at the Kinneil estate which is on the western edge of the town. Bo’ness is home to the Hippodrome, Scotland’s oldest public cinema and recently featured in Good Omens 2, to the Scottish Railway Museum and the Bo’ness Motor Museum. Nearby are Blackness and Midhope Castles which were both used in the filming of Outlander. Slightly further afield in Falkirk are The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel. Take a trip on the Maid of the Forth under the three bridges departing from nearby Queensferry.
The apartment is fifteen minutes drive from Edinburgh airport. During the day buses leave from Bo’ness regularly for Edinburgh (approximately every hour) and other destinations in Central Scotland. The M9 is just a few minutes drive from the apartment and gives access to the motorways.
Access to Edinburgh is straightforward. Although Bo'ness is 25 minutes to Edinburgh by car. You can park at Linlithgow train station (approx. 3 miles away with free parking) and take the 20-minute train ride into Waverley or Haymarket in the centre of Edinburgh. Trains leave approximately every 15-20 minutes and the last train out of Edinburgh leaves at 23.45. There is also tram access to the City from Ingliston park and ride every 10 minutes.

An amazing first class apartment (on 1st floor) in every aspect and the most welcoming hosts who really do put heart and soul into curating every little detail of not only the accommodation, but the entire guest experience. Could not fault our stay in any way from start to finish. The pictures do not capture how homely and comfortable this apartment is, it really felt like a home away from home. Jill and Ken went above and beyond thinking of every little detail to create a real 5 star experience. Far from a transactional commercial letting, this level of hospitality felt like the guest was warmly welcomed. The hosts were also super helpful in answering questions, very responsive in communications, and it felt like they genuinely care about the guests. We have travelled quite a bit and stayed in many properties, and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed at worldwide. Would definitely love to stay here again.Property is very well maintained, all appliances worked well, cleanliness was spotless, and every little convenience considered. The apartment is cosy yet spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, what you get is exactly as advertised. Very convenient to have a designated car park included as opposed to having to find street parking. Location was great, quiet, calm and peaceful neighbourhood with a small supermarket in walking distance, while also being easy to get into Edinburgh city centre from.Thank you to the lovely hosts for a truly magnificent stay :)

AMAZING! Ken is the best host ever. He had hand made organic soaps, shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, two toothbrushes and toothpaste, tons of coffee pods, milk, orange juice and even a loaf of fresh bread with butter and jam. He had everything you can ask for. Such a kind man. The place was so clean and comfortable. Great location just outside Edinburgh. Cute little town. If I ever come back it’s definitely the place I’m staying at. Thanks again Ken for everything.
