The Space:
Pleasure Point Cottage makes the perfect home base for a great adventure on Monterey Bay, nestled halfway between San Francisco and Carmel-by-the Sea. Short-term Rental Permit #221263.
This two-bedroom cottage is a part of a friendly triplex, boasting a well-equipped kitchen with all basic appliances, including a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee pot, dishes, and cookware.
The master bedroom presents a queen size bed, fresh linens, an open beam ceiling, and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom features two extra-long twin size beds, comfortable for both adults and children. A high chair and portable crib are available upon request.
Uniquely, this attached cottage offers off-street parking and its own private, fenced yard. All utilities are included - Smart TV, Wi-Fi, laundry, gardener, BBQ, and an outdoor table. We warmly welcome your dog too! They will surely appreciate the fenced yard and walks throughout the pet-friendly neighborhood. There will be a $50 non-refundable pet fee charged once your booking is confirmed.
Please note, the non-coin-operated laundry room, trash bins, and parking areas are amenities shared with the two other cottages in the triplex.

The location is great, 1.5 blocks from the ocean. Parking is right in front of the door, neighborhood is quiet and centrally located to downtown Santa Cruz, the Boardwalk, Capitola, Soquel, and Aptos. Our dog loved walking along E. Cliff Drive up to 41st and back (about a mile). The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, unlike many rentals that have questionable pots/pans and a lack of basic implements. Rooms were not cluttered with extra unneeded furniture. Outdoor side yard is pleasant and plants are maintained.There are three steps up to the front door (no railing) and the master bedroom is two steps down from the rest of the house. We would stay here again.

Beautiful property! Well kept, clean & cozy, and nestled perfectly in the heart of pleasure point. Morning walks to surf or along the coast to the cute and quaint downtown for coffee, restaurants, and cute boutiques! Communication with property management was exceptional and everything from check in to departure was easy. 10/10 recommend - made for a memorable mother daughter weekend! Thank you all!

The place was just what we needed. A gated yard for our dog, surfboards and bikes. Everything felt comfortable and convenient.

I had specifically asked if there were 2 TV's (1 in the master bedroom) and I was told "Yes." My mom is 78 and goes to bed early (5 pm and has to have the TV on). My bedtime is obviously later, so we both ended up sleeping on the sofas 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed.
