Make yourself at home in this spacious holiday home on the outskirts of a karst village. The rustic décor and wooden features create a cosy atmosphere. Spend time together in the living area with its sofa and TV, and prepare your favourite dishes in the well-equipped kitchen. Then take a seat at the dining table. Challenge your fellow travellers to a game of billiards, table football, air hockey or darts in the large leisure room.
Step out into the spacious, south-facing garden and enjoy the greenery beneath the old trees. Relax on the sun loungers, take a seat at the garden table or treat yourself to a soothing break in the sheltered massage pool. Children can let off steam on the large lawn with its swing, slide, trampoline and other play equipment. You can also make use of the barbecue area for convivial al fresco meals.
Explore the distinctive Karst landscape by bike and visit the picturesque village of Štanjel with its cobbled streets. Sample traditional Karst dishes at the local inns and buy ham, salami and local wine in the nearby village. Go for a horse ride through the surrounding countryside. Visit the famous Postojna Cave and the historic Lipizzaner stud farm in Lipica. Why not also plan a trip to the emerald-green River Soča and cool off with a swim amidst its stunning natural scenery?

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely decorated, tidy and well-equipped holiday home with a large garden and magnificent views to the green valleys of the Karst, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Karmen and Ivo, our very friendly hosts, gave us a warm and generous welcome and made us feel at home immediately. Coming back after having explored the many interesting sites and places within an hours drive, as the sunny coastal region, adventurous caves and the lovely villages in the Karst, (as Stanjel, Vipava and Vipavski), we enjoyed a game of billard or darts in the spacious games room and even relaxed in the whirlpool on the terrace, so there was nothing left to wish for!
