Relax, look out, and immerse yourself in nature. Our brand-new barn-house is completely surrounded by horse pastures. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway close to the forest, hiking trails, swimming in lakes, biking, fishing, or simply relaxing and gazing out through the large windows—then this is the perfect house for you.

The house, approximately 90 m², is divided into two living areas. The main area consists of a combined living room with an open kitchen and a built-in lounge sofa. There’s also a fully tiled bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed, and a cozy sleeping loft with two sleeping spots. The ceiling in the kitchen/living room is open to the ridge, creating a wonderful sense of space.

The second living area consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a sleeping loft with two sleeping spots, and a fully tiled bathroom with a shower. The two living areas are connected by a sunroom that can be opened up through one or two doors, depending on the weather.

The house is perfect for two families who want separate bedrooms and bathrooms but still want shared space to hang out in the kitchen, living room, or sunroom. There are 8 sleeping spots in total.

The deck runs along the south side of the house, directly adjacent to the sunroom and kitchen. Here you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and simply take in the silence. The house is of a high standard, featuring radiant floor heating, fully tiled bathrooms, a dishwasher, and soundproofed ceilings.

Swimming Lake: Lake Uddabo is just a 10-minute walk from the house. It features a dock, a fire pit, grassy areas, a volleyball net, and toys for the youngest children.

Forest: There are plenty of forests around the house. Go for a hike, take a walk in the woods, or pick mushrooms—the possibilities are endless.

Fishing: Lake Mörkabosjön is 500 meters from the house and is home to perch and pike, among other fish. A monthly fishing license costs SEK 60. Lake Mörkabosjön is also popular for birdwatching. In addition, there are many great fishing lakes within a 30-minute radius.

Golf: Several 18-hole courses are a short drive away, including Alingsås Golf Club (15 min), Vårgårda Golf Club (15 min), Bjertorp Golf Club (40 min), Öjared Golf Club (40 min), and others.

Biking: miles of bike trails literally right next to the house. The so-called Kalvarundan trail passes right by the house, https://kalvarundan.se/banstrackning/.

Vilt: Moose, roe deer, wolves, foxes, and lynx can be found in the area—though they keep a safe distance.

Attractions: The charming town of Alingsås, just a 15-minute drive from the house, offers plenty of cozy cafés, a castle park, tennis courts, swimming lakes, and more. Within an hour’s drive, you can reach plenty of attractions, such as Sweden’s second-largest city, Gothenburg. Here you’ll find Liseberg, one of the Nordic region’s largest amusement parks and the most beautiful in Scandinavia. The Trollhättan Locks, the Moose Museum at Hunneberg (the King’s hunting grounds).

Lake Vänern; Europe’s third-largest inland lake, featuring the fishing village of Spiken and the beautiful Läckö Castle with its exhibitions
Lake Hornborga; thousands of cranes and geese pass through here every spring. A fantastic spot for birdwatching.
