Wow and wow. Each year my cousin and I choose a location to visit historic sites. 2026 we made our 7 day base at this cabin in Harper’s Ferry, a most excellent decision.The host provided us a list of breakfast items to choose from and they were in the refrigerator when we arrived. There was also a supply of K cup coffee/teas and condiments.The cabin was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped.The cabin’s location was within walking distance of Lower Historic Harper’s Ferry and several restaurants within blocks of the cabin. Walking the streets of Harper’s Ferry was a joy seeing the rustic homes and you could actually smell the age of them emitting into the roads.There’s a small garden with a pool for sitting, rocking in the swing while enjoying a fire in the provided firepit.The area is quiet and the trains passing in the distance are soothing and relaxing.I will give a warning of the bedroom in the loft. At 5’7” I could only stand where the roof peaked. The ladder going up to it isn’t for the faint of heart. I’m an active 70 yoa and didn’t find it difficult but I was very very careful. I don’t recommend it for couples or children under 12. That being said the bed it contains was fantastic, probably the best sleep I’ve had for a long time.I wouldn’t hesitate to rent the cabin again and I enthusiastically recommend it. Multiple thanks to the host for their diligence in maintaining the property.

This was our 3rd time staying here and it was all excellent as always and we will be back.

Very pleasant and responsive host. We really enjoyed our stay and loved Harpers Ferry. The location was great and a lot to do in the area. The apartment was very nice and the food provided was wonderful! Highly recommended.

This quaint property is walking distance to the historical area of Harper's Ferry, but it would be a tough hike back up the hill after your sightseeing. However, there is a parking area at the National Park area with a bus that brings you to the Lower Town. Also, there is some parking at the train station.Owner is very responsive! Not sure how the place can sleep 5, unless you count children. And it lists a pool, but that is not accurate.It is great that the owner provides a made-to-order breakfast!! But don't plan to cook many other meals, as the kitchen is supplied with minimum pots, pans, baking dishes. Probably needs new wallpaper and carpeting, too.
