Welcome To Seabiscuit!
Our spacious home can accommodate multiple families and sleeps up to 20 total guests (suitable for up to 8-10 adults and 10-12 children). We are located within the Casa Del Mar community inside the St. George Plantation, a highly prized area within walking distance to Bob Sike’s Cut for the best sunset photos or fishing from the jetties!
The first main level of the home is our living room, kitchen, dining room and sitting area w/ half bath. Relax inside on our comfortable sofas with gorgeous views of blue and green Gulf waters in the Gulfside main living room. A large, flat screen TV with DVD/VHS player is available for movie night with the family or you might enjoy one of the many board games or books in our entertainment center. Sorry, the fireplace is not available for use. A large covered and sun deck is just beyond the sliding glass doors, the perfect spot to lounge in the sun or revel in the stars on gorgeous, new chaise loungers or to picnic on a beautiful afternoon on our outdoor dining tables. The deck has a gate that can be latched to help contain both younger children or pets.
Our large kitchen is well equipped with plenty of room for multiple chefs. The large dining bar has swivel bar stools, with additional seating for 8 at the dining table nearby. The pantry houses a second full size refrigerator, cookware and abundant shelving for groceries. A second seating area with a Queen sleeper sofa is available just past the kitchen along with a half bath and a furnished covered deck overlooking the driveway.
The middle level of the home offers 4 bedrooms, the first of which is a Queen bedroom with TV, access to the covered, Gulf front deck and a private full bathroom with tub/shower.
The next bedroom is a spacious Gulf front King bedroom with TV, a private bathroom and access to the covered, Gulf front deck furnished with comfortable conversation seating and porch swing - a great way to relax into the evening or to greet the morning sunrise!
Across the hall, you will find a laundry closet with full size washer and dryer. Just past the laundry closet is another Queen bedroom w/ TV and access to a jack-n-jill bathroom shared with the bunk bedroom. The bunk bedroom sleeps 4 total guests with one bunk bed w/ trundle pull out and a separate twin bed.
The top floor suite can house an entire family with sleeping accommodations for up to 6! This large, 400 sq ft open space offers a King bed with memory foam mattress, a single bed w/ trundle pullout and a single bunk bed. A separate kids media space offers a second bunk bed and a full bathroom is available with 2 sinks, a shower stall and a jetted bathtub. A seating area with loveseat, table for 4 and morning kitchen with sink, microwave and coffee maker lets you start the day early without disturbing family members below. A mini-fridge is also available for added convenience and the Gulf front balcony offers the best views in the house!
The residential elevator is accessible from the ground level foyer and travels all the way to the top floor suite. The elevator is available to responsible users for an additional $175.00 fee. For handicap accessibility, please inquire. Up to 2 dogs 50lbs or less allowed with advance approval for a $150 + tax pet fee.

We loved that Seabiscuit is directly on an uncrowded beach in a gated community. The house is furnished with quality items that are wearing well with back to back bookings. The pantry had all the pots, pans, broiling and baking sheets to cook for our group of 19. We put food in the kitchen fridge and all the drinks in the full size pantry fridge. Plenty of dishes and serving bowls/platters. We did make use of the elevator for moving in/out luggage, groceries and other items. It is worth every penny. The beach towel count when we arrived was 13 and when we left was 15 because I left 2 more. There were plenty of sand toys plus we left more, also. The most comfortable bed is the king memory foam in the Penthouse. The least is the futon mattress in the media room. We made use of every bed, including the two queen sleeper sofas,except the trundle under the Penthouse daybed because of the size of our group. The PM, Forgotten Shores was very responsive. Prior to check-in they honored my request for additional towels which were waiting. At check-in, we requested extra pillows and blankets, which they brought either that day or the next. We ran out of propane just as our bbq was done and more was delivered the next day. I provided a list of what I considered minor maintenance items (to be addressed between bookings as time allowed). We are partners in a vacation rental so we understand what can and can’t be done in a few hours between bookings. This was a wonderful family vacation!

This was a great family place, and the location is spectacular. I am not sure that the description regarding a pool on the property is clear --there are 2 other pools available off the property.

Exceptional well stocked home. Excellent pans and cutlery. Well stocked cabinets (salt & pepper, coffee filters, etc) Great porches with on all three floors. This house provided everything we needed to have an enjoyable and relaxing vacation.Nice location near Sikes Cut.

First some positives:good variety of pots and pansnice front porch w/ open deck good walkway to beach (but last step is steep)NegativesDirty, ants and cockroaches from the first day, boogers on the wall in one of the BR'sInadequate towels 1 small to medium towel and 1 hand towel per sink, towels are cheap and of poor qualityThis place says that it accommodates 20. We were a party of 10 and it was a bit crowded. I can't imagine what it would be like with 20. A little like an anthill, I guess.The elevator is balky and difficult to use.The sliding glass doors are in bad shape. There are 3 in the living room. Two of them are blocked by furniture and appear not to slide at all. The 3rd moves but the lock dors not work.In the MBR the sliding glass door is difficult to open and close.Also in the MBR the door to the bath does not close.The water pressure in the showers is too high to the point of being uncomfortable.The washing machine is the loudest I have ever heard.OverallExperience tolerable but at this price point (2000/day), this place is outrageously overpriced.PS.This did not effect the quality of our stay but I feel I should point it out.There is a large crack in the kitchen countertop. This is almost directly below the MBath door which does not close. MBR floor creaks.MBR sliding door is very hard to move. All of this suggests possible structural instability. Reccommend evaluation by structural engineer or architect.
