Stylishly presented and completely newly furnished throughout this beautiful one bedroom apartment makes a great choice for any stay in the city.
The fantastic location makes ideal for guests in York on either business or leisure. Whether you just want a central base to walk to the office or a great place to relax on the sofa and watch the river. If gazing out at the river is not your thing then don't worry, there's always the large LCD TV and DVD player to entertain you along with the large iPhone docking station for your tunes.
The kitchen comes with everything you'd expect like a dishwasher, washing machine etc. It also benefits from having solid wood worktops; an unusual feature in a city centre apartment. The property has a larger than average amount of storage space if needed.
The bedroom and bathroom are both presented excellently. The bathroom has been newly tiled and features a shower over the bath. The bedroom is tastefully presented and also has great river views.
The apartment features a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge area to accommodate an extra guest if needed too.

Great location. Local shops & bars just 5 mins walk. Great river views from our apartment. Main York attractions were over the bridge and a few mins walk. Property was very clean. Beds OK. Matresses need turning as somewhat lumpy. Plenty of bedding & crockery. Washing machine & soap was a real bonus. The airer needs replacing though as it was broken. Would definitely go back there.

We were travelling down from near Aberdeen, an with a 6 year old, needed somewhere a little more spacious than just a family hotel room.
Woodsmill Quay came up, and it fitted the bill completely. One bedroom, with a sofa bed in the living room, it was roomy enough with everything we needed.
It was extremely clean, and came with everything we might have hoped for and more.
Its location is ten minutes walk from the train station, an about 5 minutes into the heart of York itself.
The views out over the River Ouse were lovely, and the arrangements for entry were super smooth.
The only slight criticism would be that the mattress in the man bedroom could do with replacement, but otherwise we would definitely book in there again, and definitely recommend stays York to others.

A lovely apartment with great views over the river from both the living room and bedroom. Very close to all the action in York.
