Located only 10 minutes (by foot!) from downtown Clayton is your private wooded retreat. A charming 2 bedroom home with large front porch with space to relax and recharge. All the amenities and an amazing location make this the perfect spot for a quick getaway or a leisurely vacation.
Living room, dining room and kitchen are an open floor plan with comfortable spaces for relaxing, dining and cooking up a great meal. Large screen TV with netflix, amazon and hulu as well as DVDs galore - plus a record player with plenty of vintage vinyl. Lots of puzzles, books and games are in the dining room and of course fast Wifi.
Kitchen is equipped with new appliances and all the plates, cookware and accessories you could need including Nespresso machine for lattes and espressos. Plenty of pantry space if you plan a long vacation. No dishwasher, but double sink makes dishwashing easy, not to mention the great view of the private back yard from the sink.
Rear bedroom has two comfortable twin beds with memory foam mattresses. Front bedroom has new king bed with memory foam. Both bedrooms have dressers and large closets.
Bathroom has shower tub combo, single vanity and new commode.
Front porch is screened with space for dining or relaxing. Views of front yard filled with azaleas and greenery. Rear yard is accessible from dining room. Lots of space to explore, watch for deer or listen to woodpeckers. Set up your hammock and find the perfect resting place.
Dogs are welcome with prior approval and payment of pet fee.

It was a great little place! Very private and secluded with beautiful woods all the way around. Also, very close to a good gym in one direction within a mile and all the restaurants and shops in the other direction stretch for about a mile. There was a wonderful, new Ingles grocery about a half mile in another direction and a Walmart within about 3 miles. The hosts were excellent with rapid responses even when I couldn't remember or find the code to the lock box on checkout. As I was getting in our vehicle a large doe came by to see us off!

This adorable home was perfect for our family to visit Clayton! It is tucked away in the trees with a lovely screened porch. The house has everything you need inside. It is an easy 10 minute to downtown Clayton’s shops and restaurants. Heather was a very responsive host and the check in process was very smooth. I’d highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a tranquil setting just outside of town and minutes from beautiful parks and hiking trails.

Close to downtown, but felt secluded with all the greenery and trees around. We would come back. We were on a mission trip to the area for VBS. Very convenient and had everything we needed.

Love, love, love location! We usually stay at The Dillard House for it's locality to the day trips like Highlands, Cashiers, Franklin, etc. What luck we ran into when we fell upon this cabin! I've already booked for next year. It's secluded off a dead-end road literally 2 mins from downtown Clayton. One could walk if so declined to do so. The cabin is surrounded by trees. It is small, but perfect for the 2 of us. About to book for next year. Games galore! No absence of things to do not included in the cabin. I won at CLUE! ;) lol Loved that. Oh...and the record player! I will bring my oldies for our next visit! I haven't heard those in decades as we don't have one, but the child in me never wanted to throw them away. Would have liked a gas gill for sure.
