The Friesenhuus No. 4 apartment is located on the 1st floor of a completely renovated and well-insulated building. Following a comprehensive renovation, the newly designed vacation apartment has been available since 2023 to guests seeking a modern, maritime atmosphere and upscale comfort.
Large skylights provide plenty of light and offer the option to darken the room. Another highlight of the apartment is the spacious balcony, where you can enjoy the sunrise first thing in the morning with a cup of traditional East Frisian tea or coffee, accompanied by a breeze of fresh sea air. Comfortable seating is also available here.
The stylishly furnished vacation apartment offers 43 m² of space, enough for a total of 4 people. From the spacious entryway with a coat rack, you’ll find the modern bathroom, which features a toilet, sink, walk-in shower, and hair dryer. The master bedroom is generously sized and offers a direct view of the historic drawbridge and the dike. It is furnished with a double bed (180x200) with an open footboard. The second bedroom features a bunk bed (each 90x200). Both bedrooms have a built-in closet and blackout curtains on all windows.
The heart of the apartment is the bright and spacious living and dining area, totaling 23m². Comfortable armchairs and a couch invite you to relax. Board games, a flat-screen TV with Smart TV, a DVD player, and a hi-fi system provide plenty of entertainment. The dining area seats 4 people and is complemented by a high-quality kitchenette. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a dishwasher, an oven with a ceramic cooktop, a microwave, a large refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment, a coffee maker (either pod or filter), a kettle, a toaster, and much more.
In addition to the balcony, you have free access to the large lawn and the shared garden terrace with barbecue facilities and comfortable furniture. From the spacious entryway of the house, you have access to the laundry and drying room. You can park your car right next to the house in the reserved parking spaces.

The detached house "Friesenhuus Carolinensiel" is located directly behind the dike, on a quiet cul-de-sac, and is surrounded by a large lawn. The Harle River, with its idyllic promenade, the historic "Friedrichsschleuse" drawbridge, and the middle dock for the historic paddlewheel steamer Concordia II, is just 100 meters from the house. Numerous playgrounds (300m) and the "Cliner Quelle" spa center (350m)—featuring an indoor pool, saltwater pool, sauna area, and a variety of wellness offerings—are just a few steps from the front door. Thanks to its central location, the historic town center of Carolinensiel—with its idyllic museum harbor—or the North Sea beach at Harlesiel (just a 10-minute walk away) are all within walking distance.
