Besides the numerous historical buildings and fountains, a visit to the Vatican City should not be missed. Be impressed by the majestic scenery of the city. Perfect place to stay. Be warned though, if you need the heating on (travelled in April) you can end up with a hefty heating bill but that’s the way it is if you want to be comfortably warm in the evenings. Be aware that you will need to pay for bedding & towels per person as it wasn’t clear when initially booking. But don’t let that put you off as it’s a lovely place to stay.
