House was absolutely The only thing I can say is if you rent this place wear sticky socks to walk around the floor is like glass super slippery.There is about 15 stairs to get to main level after you get inside you can unlock the lower level for those who cant do more than 3 stairs. this is a place I would stay again.

The home is beautiful. My husband and I decided to take the basement bedroom instead of the upstairs master bedroom, resulting with all my kids upstairs with the fabulous bathroom to share. We had the whole basement floor as our suite, making it where the kids had to vacate when we slept. It was great privacy with the main floor functioning as a barrier from the noise my young adult children made. I slept throughout the night as I am a very light sleeper. Because of that change, I envied my kids the wonderful master bathroom, as the one in the basement had a shower and pedestal sink. If I go back to Dubuque, this house is my first choice. It is walking distance to Birdie's Bistro (brunch restaurant) and to church. Both were key to my trip. As our stay was purposeful (wedding) and brief, our exploration were limited. We experienced Eagle Point Park, although it was raining. It had many pavilions that can be rented for family gatherings with the backdrop of the Mississippi River for our enjoyment. House is just as advertised if not better. Great space and location. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed our stay.

The home was spotless and way bigger than what it appears in the pictures. We loved hanging out downstairs in the evening playing ping pong and other games. Would definitely stay here again if return to the Dubuque area.
