Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. We're happy to review early and late check requests and will do our best to accommodate. While early check-in or late check-out can't be guaranteed, we always make every effort to honor these requests when availability allows. Paid options may be available.

Dog-friendly home! Up to two dogs are welcome with a $130 non-refundable pet fee.
Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. A security deposit, mid stay cleaning fees and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay.

This house was easy to get to. The drive was not bad at all. The house was beautiful with nicer finishes. The floors and counters were clean. We enjoyed having the hot tub and pool table. We had a bear visit one day out back! There is plenty of room to spread out in the house. Having 2 kitchens was very nice! The area around Lake Lure is quaint. There are no chain restaurants, only local ones. The downtown area is mostly rebuilt, but there is still some construction in the area. That did not affect our stay at all. There were only a few minor things I would say were a little negative. The trees and bushes in the front area are a little overgrown and could use a trim. The 2 lounge chairs on the upstairs deck are damaged a little. The downstairs bathroom tub/shower has a huge step in/step down as it is a jetted tub. We managed it ok, but older people would definitely have a difficult time getting in/out of the shower. There were several hairs on the pillows in the downstairs bedroom (with one bed), and the couch in that room had crumbs under the arms of it, hidden by the throw pillows. You could tell the last occupants had a pet there, as there were dog hairs on the end tables and on the deck outside. None of these things ruined our stay, they are just the reason I didn't give 5 stars. The house is private, large, and easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay!

The house was great and perfect for our family of 5, 2 dogs and 2 of our kid’s friends that joined us on our vacation. Everyone had a great time! There was even a big comfy dog bed, which our senior dog really enjoyed spending the entire long weekend lounging on! The kids really enjoyed having their own space downstairs in the game room and played pool every night. Lake Lure was a lot of fun and we will back!!

Beautiful home with a perfect location, only a few miles away from everything local. We took a week, two family vacation, and there was so much to do at the house with the game rooms, Jacuzzi, etc… there was no need to leave. The residence had a beautiful view all the way around the house and beautiful walking trails.
