Take a stroll back in time in this beautiful studio situated just two blocks from Historic Downtown Baker City. You will love this lovely space which is one of four apartments within a beautiful Victorian home. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located gem!
This studio has a living room with a new cozy hide-a-bed sectional, a large television, a table for two, and a separate sleeping area. The small kitchen is a great place to prepare meals and the bathroom has an enclosed claw foot tub, a pedestal sink and ample storage.
Guests have access to the back yard gathering space with a firepit and gazebo.
We`re here to ensure your comfortable during your stay and available to answer any questions you may have 24 hours a day.
The Palmer House is nestled in Baker City`s Historic district adjacent to downtown where you will find many large Victorian style homes built in the early 1900`s during the gold rush. This lovely studio will take you back in time with the amenities we love and enjoy today!
Park your car and stroll on the sidewalk lined streets to Downtown Baker City. You will find wine tasting, boutiques, Barley Browns Brew Pub, and the Sweet Wife Bakery with the most delectable pastries you can imagine, and more!
Jump in your car and take a drive up into the Elkhorn or Eagle Cap mountains to take in breathtaking views in each of these mountain ranges that surround Baker City and make it an outdoor paradise.

With that vintage personality comes a staircase that’s a bit steeper and narrower than what you’ll find in newer builds. We ask our guests to be respectful of others regarding noise. We seek to provide guests with a peaceful and restful stay, and we rely on everyone to make this possible. ***
***We’re happy to try to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests whenever possible. Please note that approval depends on our cleaning team’s schedule, as we want to ensure the property is fully prepared for every guest.

General Rules
• Quiet Hours: Please keep noise to a minimum, especially after 8 PM, as this home is in a quiet neighborhood.
• Parking: Park in on the street in front of the home.
• Shoes: Remove shoes indoors or ensure they are free of dirt to help keep the home clean.
• Overnight Guests: Visiting guests not on the reservation require prior approval.
• Smoking: Smoking is allowed outdoors only. Please collect and dispose of cigarette butts.
• Hot Tub Use: Shower with soap before using the hot tub to maintain cleanliness.
Pet Policy (for Travelers with Animals)
• Pets must be pre-approved (limit 2 dogs, under 70 lbs, and at least 1 year old).
• Pets are not to be left unattended in the home. Please have your pet on a leash in the backyard shared area.
• Keep pets leashed around the neighborhood.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds.
• Report any pet-related damage before checkout.
• Please minimize barking out of respect for neighbors.
Additional Policies
• Damages: Guests will be charged for stained towels, linens, or damages beyond standard wear and tear.
• Excess Cleaning: An additional cleaning fee may apply if the property requires extra attention after your stay.

This is a lovely property, close to downtown and very convenient and clean, and the homemade bread waiting for us was a great touch.

This charming residence was clean, comfortable and very well appointed with everything you might need and then some! The hosts paid attention to all the details, including convenient charging ports, well-equipped kitchen, fresh coffee, nice wines available (for cost), and what??? — fresh bread baking in our unit as we walked in the door! Our unit was very spacious and comfortable, but I should mention it was up a flight of stairs which might be an issue for some people. I found the shower curtain a little cumbersome and in the way, but everything else was so nice I would not give a demerit. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and wonderful for walking, conveniently located to businesses. Highly recommend the Palmer House for a nice stay in Baker City!

The hot water didn't get hot and it was listed as a e bedroom but it was not a 2bedroom but evening else was ok
