The latter is one of the highest buttes in Paris and the view from the top is worth the trip. The Sacré-Coeur church, Bastion of the Commune in the XIXᵉ century, Montmartre later became the neighborhood of many artists such as Picasso, Dali, Duchamp, Toulouse-Lautrec and many others. The 18ᵉ arrondissement is therefore very contrasted, integrating ethnic islets to a bourgeois area or the opposite. The Boulevard de Clichy, near Place Pigalle, has various very pleasant cafés and bars, giving the neighborhood a certain dynamism and respectability.
