Wildlife is in abundance with the RSPB nature reserve just along the coast. Championship golf course 300 yards away and fishing, riding and sailing are all available. Sweetheart Abbey, Drumlanrig Castle and Gardens, and Mabie Farm Park are all within easy reach. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Clean and tidy and a spacious cottage for 5 people and 2 dogs. Really enoyed the stay.

The property was fine but the kitchen equipment was very sparse and the knives were blunt! There is only a mirror in one bedroom; no blinds in the bedrooms so no privacy unless the curtains are closed all the time and no blinds in the conservatory so like being in a goldfish bowl! Unfortunately the gas ran out on our first night so no hot water in the morning but the owner eventually replaced that by mid day.
