Our new and modern vacation home is available for rent at the Success Rhederlaagse Meren Vacation Park in Lathum (near Arnhem and Nijmegen, and just under an hour from Amsterdam).
Sleeps up to 4 people; non-smoking property; no pets allowed.
About the vacation home: The chalet was completed in the summer of 2021 and is situated on a very beautiful lot, with a stunning view from the terrace of a pond featuring a small fountain.
It also features a modern bathroom, a living and dining area with an integrated kitchenette equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, as well as a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and all necessary dishes, pots, and cutlery. Both air conditioning and gas heating ensure a cool environment in the summer and cozy warmth in the winter.
Our large, furnished terrace is covered and equipped with a table and chairs, a lounge set, and two sun loungers. Thanks to its south-facing location, you’ll have a sunny spot around the clock. A charcoal grill is also available for your use.
Wi-Fi can either be booked at the front desk for use throughout the park or used free of charge at the accommodation. You’ll also find the login details at the accommodation.
About the park: It’s located right in nature by a large swimming lake, with a sandy beach and access to the IJssel River.
A new outdoor pool with slides has also been built. The park features a restaurant, a snack bar, and a bar.
The swimming lake, complete with a beach bar, is just a 5-minute walk away.
Here, you can enjoy activities such as water sports, swimming, cycling, fishing (for a fee), taking walks, or simply relaxing. There’s something for everyone here.
There’s also a small marina where you can rent boats and moor them. Bicycles and e-scooters are also available for rent so you can explore the area.
For day trips, you can reach the beautiful cities of Arnhem or Nijmegen in just about a 15-minute drive. Amsterdam, The Hague, and Utrecht are about an hour’s drive away.
There are also restaurants and an ice cream shop near the park (a 10-minute walk).

The chalet is fully equipped, clean kitchen with all the necessities, great beds and a nice shower. The location was lovely and quiet with views as in the photos. We had a few good days in Lathum. The fine and friendly host was easy and quick to reach. All in all, a very good experience!

The property is very nice and immaculately clean. Location is great for access to Arnhem. There was a little confusion about check-in as everything was either in German or Dutch but that was resolved by talking to the owner directly.
