In a gated courtyard offering peace and quiet in the heart of the market town of Abergavenny, with the beautiful Welsh countryside on your doorstep.. 1 step to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Living room: 50" Freeview Smart TV, CD Player, DVD Player, Smart Speaker
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.. Courtyard (shared with other properties on-site). Sitting-out area with garden furniture and BBQ. 2 well behaved medium-sized dogs welcome. Bike store. Public car park, £6.20 per day; unloading at the courtyard gate. No smoking.. Fancy taking a break in this delightful, Mews cottage? It lies tucked away in a small courtyard of cottages with gates shutting out the world, giving peace, quiet and privacy. Go through the gates and you are 50 yards from the centre of historic Abergavenny café culture, with its many coffee shops and bistro’s. Originally the site of a Roman fort, Gobannium, Abergavenny became a medieval walled town within the Welsh Marches, with its own Norman castle.
If walking or cycling is your thing, then Abergavenny is the gateway to the mountains, including the nearby Sugarloaf, the Blorenge, with the famous ’The Tumble’ cycle hill climb, and the five hills, Ysgyryd Fach, Deri, Rholben, Ysgyryd Fawr and Mynyd Llanwenarth. With easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains, Offa’s Dyke Path is close by and the Marches Way, the Beacons Way and Usk Valley Walk all pass through Abergavenny town. Fishing, golf and horse riding are all available nearby.
After all that walking or cycling and Welsh fresh air, why not relax and listen to the live music at the local public house, 50 yards away, on a Friday or Sunday evening, or simply relax in the courtyard with a glass of local wine? Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

The cottage was so warm and cosy. It's location is excellent, although parking could be an issue in season and adds to the cost. We really appreciated the welcome pack and the various guides and local information.

A lovely time with everything and more had great walks with the dog. Shops on the doorstep and the location was nice and quiet all and all a great winter break
