This vacation rental is quite spacious and tastefully furnished.
The living/dining room features a wall unit with a 40" LED TV and a large extendable dining table that seats four to five people. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, stove, Nespresso coffee machine, and spices.
The master bedroom features a double bed with a Latex topper mattress and an air conditioner.
The children’s bedroom has a comfortable seating area and a bunk bed.
The bathroom has a sink, a toilet, and a shower.
Additionally, Residenza ViraLago features a sauna and a beautiful, large indoor pool. The indoor pool is closed from early November through the end of March.
Vira is a very charming Ticino village with little tourist traffic and authentic Ticino charm. Vira features narrow alleyways and a lovely lakeside promenade. It’s not glamorous, but it is idyllic and relaxing.
From Vira, you can go on beautiful short or longer hikes or take a boat to Locarno, Ascona, or the Brissago Islands. It’s also easy to take a boat to Italy—specifically to Luino, Canobbio, or the Borromean Islands. In addition, there are many attractions and museums in the surrounding area, particularly in the towns of Locarno, Lugano, Bellinzona, and Ascona, and Milan is just a short drive away, with its many notable landmarks such as the cathedral, theaters, and numerous beautiful museums. Of course, Milan is also an ideal place to go shopping or visit the world-famous La Scala opera house.
