Spend time in this 2400 square foot waterfront home on 2.5 acres. Sit back and enjoy Florida's aquatic wildlife including alligators, turtles, ducks, egrets, herons, osprey, and many more. Visit the Tavares Entertainment District only 5 minutes by car for restaurants and nightlife. Conveniently located .5 miles from the Tavares Dock and Marina and 10 minutes from the Harris Chain of Lakes docks for excellent fishing. The Big House and Hickory Point are within 5 miles. Local boat rentals, sea doos, and kayaks are available along with the Dora Queen paddle boat. Tavares, also known as Sea Plane City hosts multiple events at the city park as well as the beautiful Pavilion on the Lake.

Fabulous retro house. Spotless and well stocked with towels, bedding, kitchen tools, etc. Honestly can't say enough about the house and owners. Mike was Johnny on the spot with everything! Exceptional communication. The patio was the favorite. Great spot right on canal/river, huge lot, private, lots of wildlife including little gator, turtles and graceful birds everyday relaxing in yard. We'll be back!!! Highly recommend this comfortable, quiet and distinctive home that will bring back memories for those born in the boomer erra!! Best sleep I've had in a very long time. Thank you again!! Made for a very memorable family wedding weekend.
