Queen Victoria Park is the oldest park in Kitchener. It is situated on a gorgeous lake where you can walk the many trails throughout the park & waterways - with stunning views of the famous Iron Bridge that stretches across the lake, beautiful flower gardens, and of course the wonderful Geese & Swans that float along the lake. The park has a huge playground for little ones, a splash pad in the hot summer months, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, an ice skating rink in the cold winter months, tons of events held right in the Park such as the famous yearly Multicultural Festival or even Ribfest, plus SO MUCH MORE!!
Victoria Park Pavillion Banquet Hall is also situated in Victoria Park where there are many weddings and concerts held.
You truly will not be disappointed with all of the wonderful options you will have in this location all-year round!

Unfortunately, travelling to a destination you want to go to isn't fun anymore. It's exhausting. It's measuring liquids, taking off belts and boots, it's having your purse searched, your body scanned. So, it's a relief when you arrive at your destination and it's clean, organized, pretty, and exactly everything that was promised. And when the sun came out, we took advantage of the beautiful porch right outside the door and let the sun re-energize us. This is our second, maybe third? time here, and it will continue to be our go-to when I return to Ontario to visit family.
