Brookland is a lovely cottage in a remarkable setting overlooking the beautiful Menai Straits and with views of the historic Menai Suspension Bridge. The cottage is located in a tranquil area but is also close to attractive restaurants, pubs, the Anglesey Coastal Path and town amenities and shopping.
Brookland is a comfortable cottage. It has two double bedrooms and a smaller bedroom furnished with bunk beds that is ideal for children. It has a newly refurbished family bathroom. Downstairs there is a kitchen / dining room, living room, utility room and a downstairs toilet.
The kitchen / dining room has a French door giving on to a patio area with spectacular and unique views of the beautiful Menai Straits and all its associated bird and wildlife. The South-facing patio is equipped with table and chairs and can be used as an eating area throughout the day. To the rear of the property there is a paved yard. The property has central heating and is extensively double glazed.

Nothing could beat the view. Watching the tides, the birds, the boats and the passerby’s from our eating spot on the balcony in the sunshine!!! The place had enough space for us to have family visitors come and go. Having its own designated parking spot was useful. Within walking to the sweet village of Menai Bridge which had all possible amenities. Central area for touring on Anglesey with all its history and beaches, as well as popping over the bridge to the beauties of North Wales. This area is prolific with Welsh culture. We stayed for a month and hard to leave.

We returned yesterday from a lovely 3 night stay at Brooklands - the only downside was the fact we were there for only the three nights.Check-in process was clear - and then you get a first glimpse of that stunning view as you walk into the propertyGood sized and comfortable bedrooms, and nice bathroom with a very good shower. Plenty of towels available, and toilet paper etc providedThe kitchen is very well stocked in terms of crockery & pans etc, with a nice space and a secondary space in the utility which has a 2nd fridge and a freezer and washing machine. Nice small lounge area with good TV channelsAnd then you have the terrace - what a view! We were lucky to have stunning weather and were able to eat outside most of the time. Parking was easy - we just unloaded everything from the car and then parked in the designated space which is a a 2 minute walk.Lovely places to eat and drink in the town - take your pick! We had a Chinese takeaway which was lovely, and the ice cream in the gelateria on the square is a must visit. Great location to have a base and visit the island or nearby mainland locations. We'll certainly be back
