What a beautiful property! We wish we had booked a longer trip. This house had everything you need for a fun family getaway. I loved how cozy it was for our family to reconnect. The house was very clean with everything you could need from games to towels to appliances to toiletries. Beds were very comfortable. Everything at the house/in the neighborhood was a blast. Lots of “codes” to remember to access the pool, login for parking, etc. but easy enough to figure out. One of the pools was closed one day for maintenance, and another a different day for a party, but luckily there are three! You pretty much have to have a golf cart around the neighborhood- but renting one was simple and they delivered! Also- if you’re bringing a boat- there are some intricacies with parking the trailer, renting a slip, and getting the boat in and out of the water (no ramp onsite). The lake is huge and there are fun marinas. But there’s so much to do at Carlton Landing, I’d probably skip the boat next time. As other reviews have said- this is more of a weekend town, but we enjoyed the quiet during the week. Bring bikes/scooters/pool toys for the littles and enjoy this escape from real life even if for a few days :)

Excellent property. Exactly as described, very well stocked with essentials and extras that other hosts don’t provide. Will definitely consider staying here again next time we come to Carlton Landing. We visited during the off season (April), so Carlton Landing was very quiet. That was what we wanted but keep in mind that there aren’t any real food and drink options during the week, so be prepared to drive to another town and/or buy groceries (also in another town) and cook at the property.

We stayed at this lovely spot for the weekend, just enough space for my family… so comfy and perfect! Will be back :)
