Tons of parking for many cars, bikes, trailers, ATV's, and more!
The Space:
This pet friendly, family friendly, vacation home truly has it all! New grill added October, 2025. There is a beautiful kitchen on the main level with an expansive island ready to kickstart your vacation the right way! Cook delicious meals together and connect - nothing brings people together better than food! There is also a kitchenette on the lower level which makes this home perfect for a couple of families to share together, or a large group! About 3,000 sqft of perfectly crafted space awaits you only 2.5 miles from downtown Durango, and only 1.5 miles from the Animas River Trail. Sitting on 1/2 acre with a fully fenced yard, and a short trail to a lookout deck offering stunning mountain and valley views with open space behind for additional trail access. This location is a quick 5 min drive to Historic Downtown Durango, yet you can easily hop on 550 North towards Purgatory Ski area just 25 miles away. You will not get bored with a pool table, foosball, darts, ping pong, yard games, and home gym at your disposal. Plenty of parking out front that can accommodate up to 7+ vehicles or trailers. Guests also have use of the detached garage (this is where the ping pong table and home gym are located) where you can park a car, your side by side, bikes, and motorcycles for extra security. Exceptional attention to detail was taken in creating this unique space! You will not be disappointed. The downstairs has its own exterior entrance and small kitchen, which makes this the perfect place if you are traveling with other families, providing a sense of privacy, yet easily come together when desired for meals and fun! Sleeping up to 14 people, your large group (or smaller group) will love every bit of this beautifully remodeled home. You will probably see deer and other wildlife that like to frequent the vacant lot next door! Oh, and we can’t leave out the extremely fast high speed FIBER internet clocking in at or above 475 mbps! At the end of your adventurous day relax in the Nordic Pure ozone infused hot tub on the deck, and grill some juicy steaks (new grill added Oct 2025) while enjoying a glass of wine on the lookout deck with views of the mountain range, downtown Durango, and the Animas Valley. The master closet is also extremely spacious and can easily fit a pack-and-play which families with young children love! The Neighborhood:
There are restaurants close by such as Pop Sushi, Dominos, Bread Cafe, Machos Mexican, and more! Only 1.5 miles to the Animas River trail.

The basement of the home has its own fully stocked kitchenette, so this is a great option for two families traveling together! Extremely fast fiber internet at least 475 mbps.

We were very pleased that we made this reservation (requires a $3K deposit).The home was great for our group, and using the entire two-part home, we comfortably fit 11 without needing to use the two sofas for sleep. An important note that I wish we had known, there is only a single bedroom with bunk beds on the main floor and you must ascend or descend staircases for adult bedrooms. Not ideal for our elderly guest, and would have been a game changer for us had I known.
Bunk-beds room and kitchen on the middle floor. One bedroom with a king bed and its own bathroom on the top-most floor, and then two rooms in the basement with a kitchenette. One has an additional king bed, and there is another large room with two, basic, queen-size beds and that room also has a full pool table in it. All guests on the basement floor share a single bathroom.
There are so many activities within the house that actually were the highlight of the home for our group! It has a pool table, ping-pong table, lawn games, and foosball tables in addition to a full fire pit which was amazing for s’mores and late night fireside chats. It also has a small hot tub on the deck, but we didn’t use it.
I’d recommend this home as a nice, large group stay for anyone who can do stairs and doesn’t mind sharing rooms or staying in open areas. Bring extra paper towels and toilet paper, and know that the inside of the home is much more positive than your initial impression outside. Great memories here!

Great property in a great location. Great communication from Riley. Hosted our family of 13 with no problems. Loved the hiking trail right out the back of the property! Lots of wildlife and things to do.
