The apartment, located in Monterosso, the largest town in the “5 Terre,” is accessible by car and is located on the first floor of a section of the villa consisting of two separate units. It features a private garden with a magnificent view of the Gulf of the “5 Terre.” The apartment is tastefully furnished and consists of a large living room with a sofa bed, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a kitchen, and parking. Just across the street from the apartment, a staircase leads down to the waterfront in just a few minutes, where you’ll find the train station, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Continuing on, you’ll reach the historic center, where most of the restaurants, shops, and wine bars are located, as well as the banks, the post office, and the pier, from which boats depart for the other “5 Terre,” Portovenere, and Portofino. It’s also possible to reach the historic center by minibus, which stops right next to the house. The apartment is ideal for a couple or a family of 3–4 people. Upon arrival, guests must pay the tourist tax for guests over the age of twelve, which amounts to 1 euro per person for the first 3 days,

Overall a very nice stay. The one drawback of this property is the walk to get there....a lot of steps to property from main street. We had suitcases and while we appreciated the good work out; it was a lot to deal with on a repeat trips into town.

My friends and I spent 4 glorious nights here. Everything was as expected and the host was so kind and welcoming. She provided us with a home stay with a well equipped family cottage that was cozy and full of charming character. This is a place where we could absolutely come back to!

Good location above the new town. Eduardo met us in front of the property and showed us where to park across the street. We paid 10 euros / day for parking - parking charge was not listed on Expedia nor VRBO. The apt smelled very musty and was very dirty: thick dust, lots of clutter with very old outdated tourist brochures, floors where dirty, dirty dishes in cabinet, shower floor disgusting, microwave had food splatter, bathroom items where used hard and dirty with dust and old soap scum, silk flower display moldy. This apt could be beautiful if cared for with a deep clean and / or renovation. This was by far the dirtiest place we stayed at in our 32-day Italy trip and costed us a lot more than any other stay we had. The bathroom had old, used shower caps. The TV (which we could not get to work) remote control was black with finger prints and dirt. The grounds were very neglected and the upstairs apt had multiple trash bags stacked outside. This was by far the worst place we stayed at and the most expensive. Lots of potential but now looks like a neglected, forgotten place.
