The large river stone fireplace is the centerpiece of this charming mountain getaway which is only a stones throw from the clubhouse, swimming pool, and restaurant. Whether you are an outdoors man, golfer, or just in need of peace and quiet... look no further. We provide luxury towels and linens to let you know that we appreciate you and want you to feel special in every aspect of your visit to Beech House. The cabin is located in a gated community with access to an 18-hole golf course, pool, gym, clubhouse and just a short drive to Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Foothills Parkway, or the Cades Cove entrance to Great Smoky Mountain National Park. I did not look at the reviews until a week before the stay and it made me nervous. A couple of reviews made it sound so bad that I was worried about our stay. I want to say a couple months between their stay and mine made a difference but I truly believe those reviews were unfair. It's a really nice cabin that is cozy and perfect for our stay. I have stayed in cabins in the Smokies for over 25 years and this was just as nice as all the others I have been to. There are a couple easy things they could do to take it up a notch but for the most part, it's a great place to stay. I say book with confidence.

It does have nice views of the valley and mountains. The cabin is nicely laid out and has adequate kitchen supplies. However, the carpet is badly stained and has a strong smell to it. There has been a leak near the chimney which has created a musty smell. Several of the lamps were missing lightbulbs or had non-working lightbulbs.I would be willing to rent a different Dogwood Cabin if I could see it first.
