Welcome to Ocean View, where the name truly speaks for itself. This beautifully updated 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home in the Spanish Grant subdivision sleeps up to 16 guests and offers unobstructed views of the Gulf from nearly every angle. Perfect for families and groups looking to enjoy a relaxing and scenic coastal getaway, this home is located just steps from the beach in one of Galveston's most charming neighborhoods.
Start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the front-facing, partially covered deck with plenty of seating for the whole group as the sun rises over the ocean. On the ground level, enjoy a spacious gathering area complete with two picnic tables, a wooden swing, an outdoor shower (with hot and cold water), and a convenient half bath—ideal for entertaining or unwinding after a day on the sand.
Inside, the main level features a bright and airy open-concept living, dining, and kitchen space with brand-new furniture and stunning floor-to-ceiling windows offering endless views of the sea. The fully equipped kitchen includes bar-top seating and a large ranch-style dining table with bench seating, making it easy to enjoy meals together. We had a great time and made wonderful memories with the kids! Though beach is public, it’s not near as busy as the others. Home is on outskirts of the hustle and bustle but a short drive into town for all activities. House was roomy enough for all of us. The patio swing was quite relaxing while listening to the waves, and an outdoor potty and shower, which is perfect for beach days! Will be returning when we decide on another Galveston stay!

Host was welcoming period. Neighborhood was very pleasant. View was very nice. Property could use a little maintenance. I replaced a battery in one of the ceiling fan light remotes and repaired a lampshade. Overall , my stay was very nice and I would return to the property again.

The house is in a nice location. The ocean view is perfect. There were heavy equipment operators posted up in front of our house dredging sand all night though and their bright lights beamed through the windows. No trash bags which I found weird and inconvenient for the amount we paid for the weekend. The pictures make the house look a lot better than in reality.
