Spanish colonial home walking distance to Missouri State University and close to downtown is located in the lovely Roundtree Neighborhood. This spacious older home has 4 generous sized bedrooms, 2 baths and great spaces to relax, remote work, or be a base for fun in the queen city.
The space
This is a Spanish Colonial style home with lots of character, yet modern conveniences. The rooms are light and airy, with 5 star comfort bedding throughout.
We often stay in this house ourselves and we think you will love it as much as we do!

This property was actually nicer than the listing/google maps view. Google Maps showed the street at the back of the house, which is busier and lacks shade. The actual front entrance of the house is on a quiet cul-de-sac in a lovely neighborhood with beautiful landscaping, which was a nice surprise. The house was perfect for our needs. We had seven adults (only one couple) in town for a funeral and we all had a comfortable bed, and quiet to sleep. The house was a perfect size for our big group and it was very clean. We ended up spending a lot of time on the porch so it would have been nice to have more patio furniture but that's about the only thing we could have asked for. Christie was quick to respond and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We were in and out of Springfield for a night. It was a smooth check-in, check-out stay. Minimal communication was needed and all of our needs were taken care of for the night without any extra communication needed.

Communication with host was great. Close to lots of restaurants and entertainment venues.

Property was just as detailed in the listing. However, when we arrived on Friday night, the family that was due to check in on Saturday was already in the home. They were very nice, realized their mistake in the check in time and proceeded to leave for a hotel. They had already taken showers and had friends over by the time we arrived. This could’ve been a much bigger problem and a safety issue had they been a different group of people.
