8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
Perfect location in Brantingham! We were able to walk to the Pine Tree, General Store, and Coach Light Inn. Unfortunately we arrived in a heat wave so the house was quite stuffy for the first night. Cooled off after we opened everything up. A few of the towels had a mildew smell, and it’s due for a cleaning behind the beds upstairs. Other than that it was good for what we needed on our stay!

Great place to stay for a trail ride, strongly recommend

The location is centrally located for snowmobiling and right on the trail. There are two restaurants in walking distance, a general store for supplies as well as gas to fuel the sleds at the begging of each day. Also, plenty of parking for trailer and vehicle. The cabin itself is very nicely appointed and has a great Adirondack feel.

We liked the house and it is spacious and well stocked, however, we had one issue. The bedding had a strong mildew/sour odor and it was quite off putting. There were other sheets in the closet and we remade the bed, but the comforter still held that smell. We were in the area to visit a sick relative and only stayed two nights, had the stay been longer, I would have stripped the bed and washed everything. I do not anticipate paying for the clean bedding and having to provide it myself. And since I am being piqué, the lace curtains are due for a wash as well.
