Summary:
Welcome to Lily Bay Lodge, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This 3-story home was built in 1988 and sits on a 2-acre wooded property with 200 feet of sandy Lake Michigan shoreline. It features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and overlooks Lake Michigan so you'll experience breathtaking views from almost every room in the house. It also has a screened in porch that faces south and offers bug-free dining and the sounds of the waves hitting the shore add to the experience. The outdoor brick paved patio is on the lakeside and also has a table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is also a firepit on the beach for evening campfires. This home is located a short 10-minute drive to downtown Sturgeon Bay and is about 3/4 mile to the Lily Bay boat launch.

This property allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs under 25 pounds each. There is an additional fee collected at booking.

+ Swimming Conditions: 200 feet of sand beach, water temps are cool: 50-60 degrees. Beach stretches for miles offering a great opportunity to walk the beach to enjoy nature, watch the sunrise, or try fishing.
+ Water Depth: A gentle slope from shore 0-10 feet (20 feet from shore)
+ Kayaks can be used no more than 50 yards off the shoreline, any further out water is rough and cold.

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.

- A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
- PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

We just had our 2nd stay at Lily Bay Lodge. It has become a family favorite. Kayaking on the lake, long walks on the beach and listening to the waves at night. The host has always been great and still has a very generous gift basket with fantastic salmon.

We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. What made this property stand out was the hospitality. The owner checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond by bringing over some freshly caught salmon, which we grilled for dinner. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch.Despite some rain, our group spent much of our time enjoying the outdoor spaces. The screened porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee and the patio gave us a great space for evening conversation and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. We also took advantage of the kayaks and wetsuits, which made it easy and fun to get out on the water.Tip: bring ingredients for a few meals at the house. Between the outdoor spaces, the water access, and the fire pit, you may find yourselves wanting to spend more time at the property and less time running around Door County.The property was comfortable, peaceful, and a great place for our family to spend time together. Thank you for sharing such a special place with us!

Spacious, well-laid out home with perks throughout- kayaks, fireplace, fire pit, wet suits and sand toys. Wonderful view and a sandy beach that goes on and on in both directions. Gracious host left a basket of goodies and brought us fresh salmon that we cooked on the gas grill. Great space for a family. There were 7 of us including 2 little ones and there were plenty of spaces to spread out. Some reading niches too. Would definitely recommend this place! We hope to be back.
