The hamlet of La Folatière is located in the town of Antezant-la-Chapelle, 6 kilometers from the St. Jean d’Angely exit on the A10 highway.

Set in a fully enclosed, tree-lined garden with a private 10-meter-by-4-meter in-ground pool. Featuring private parking, this bright, comfortable, 120-square-meter, standalone vacation rental consists of a first floor and an upper floor.

On the first floor:

A living room furnished with 2 sofas, 1 TV, 1 foosball table, and an electric fireplace insert for a cozy fire with LED lighting. Fully equipped open kitchen: Senseo coffee maker, toaster, kettle, oven, microwave, central bar island, direct access to the terrace and pool, one bedroom with a double bed, one bathroom, one toilet, and a laundry room with a washing machine.
Terrace where you can admire our chickens, which will provide you with delicious farm-fresh eggs. .

Upstairs:
1 master suite with a double bed, 1 bathroom with a toilet, 1 bedroom with a single bed.

Near the cottage, within an average 50-minute drive, you can visit La Palmyre Zoo and the La Rochelle Aquarium. Relax and enjoy the beaches of Île d’Oléron, Île d’Aix, or Île de Ré. Sunbathe and stroll along the vast beaches of the wild coast at Ronce-les-Bains. The Poitevin Marshes, known as the “Green Venice.” The Corderie Royale and the ship “L’Hermione” in Rochefort. Futuroscope is 1 hour and 45 minutes away, and Puy du Fou is less than a 2-hour drive. Oradour-sur-Glane, the “martyr village,” is 2 hours away. Bordeaux is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. The international motocross track in Saint-Jean-d’Angély-Mazeray is 8 kilometers away.

In the area surrounding the estate, you can enjoy a wide range of activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, golf, ATV riding, canoeing, jet skiing, swimming, go-karting, and even hot-air balloon rides.

You can also enjoy the culinary delights of our Poitou-Charentes region: oysters, mussels, clams, eels, and snails, paired with a local white wine, Pineau des Charentes, or Cognac. Visit the wineries and enjoy a tasting.

Our four-legged friends (dogs, cats, etc.) are welcome provided they are house-trained and respectful of our chickens and the property.

The vacation rental is open year-round.

All bed linens and towels are provided. If you’d prefer not to clean before leaving, we can do it for you; the fee depends on the length of your stay. All you have to do is unpack your bags.
The bed will be made upon your arrival.
Free access to the 10 m x 4 m in-ground pool. The pool is enclosed and equipped with an alarm.
