Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.
Pointe West Beach Club Access (Optional)
The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility offering resort-style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. The resort fee is $25 per person (ages 4+) per stay, with a limit of three amenity bands per bedroom.
Amenities include:
* Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
* Hot tubs
* Basketball and pickleball courts
* Modest game/exercise room
Access process:
* The Beach Club will send an invoice directly to you.
* After payment, wristbands can be picked up at the Beach Club Office (open daily, 9 AM–5 PM).
* The resort fee is nonrefundable; purchasing closer to your arrival is recommended.
Important information:
We manage the rental home only and do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds or cancellations are not provided for closures or operational issues.
* Check in: 4 PM
* Check out: 10 AM
* Guests may enjoy the beach and Beach Club amenities before check-in and after check-out with wristband purchase.
* Condos are accessible by stairs and have one elevator per building. If the elevator experiences an outage, you will be required to take the stairs. Elevators should not be relied upon for guests with disabilities or other limitations.
* Minimum age requirement: 26+
* No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.
CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY:
* 31+ Days Before Arrival — You may change your dates (but the price might change), or you may cancel for a full refund minus a $100 fee and any travel‑insurance premium you bought.
* 30 Days or Less — No refunds and no date changes, no matter the reason — including weather or unexpected events.
Travel Insurance — Offered at booking. Helps protect you from losses due to unexpected events. Important because hurricane season is June–November.
Storm & Cancellation Policies — Additional details are in the rental agreement and should be reviewed carefully.

We had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.

The home is beautiful and very clean. You could hear the waves on the beach from both decks. I am sharing our experience to help you prepare for your trip - this isn't a complaint (really). There are a few items you need to take to make the trip more comfortable and enjoyable. Beach chairs - they didn't have any or beach toys or towels. If you are a cook - bring some of your favorite pots and pans. The home has one pot and two pans - which are all very small, so cooking for 8 guests took several hours because I had to keep washing and drying the pans. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were smaller than a travel-size toothpaste. Each guest was provided one bath towel - so bring extra laundry pods.

The house was clean and roomy. we enjoyed our stay. Although it was listed to sleep 10 people the kitchen was not outfitted for a group. For example, there were only 2 pots, 2 pans, and 1 measuring cup. I do understand limiting things like toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags but the amount supplied should take into account the size of the group. There were not enough towels and the bedding (blankets, comforters was pretty sparse as well.The porch had 4 chairs and 2 small side tables. No other porch furniture. Again we enjoyed our visit but there are details that could be improved to make this a house that is truly made for a bigger group as advertised

My family had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean and just as described. The house had a wonderful view and was a short walk to the beach crossover. My only suggestion would be to add an outdoor picnic table. Thanks for a wonderful and relaxing stay!y
