Between the Alpilles and the Luberon, Lis Aubre, our traditional Provençal farmhouse, is entirely private and air-conditioned, with a heated swimming pool from April 1st to October 3rd.
Enjoy a wide range of facilities for all ages: a pétanque court, two children's play areas, a table tennis table and an indoor relaxation area with a large 8-person jacuzzi, massage table and table football.
Bed linen is included; towels are available as an optional extra.
The farmhouse is intended for family holidays and is not suitable for parties or festive events. The maximum capacity is 14 people in total, including a maximum of 8 to 12 adults.
Respecting the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood is essential at all times, including during the day. Shouting and excessive noise outdoors are not permitted, and noisy outdoor parties are not allowed.
Four of the five bedrooms can be configured with either single or double beds to suit your needs.
Baby equipment is available: 2 cots, 2 high chairs, 1 baby bouncer and 1 pushchair.
An extra bed can be moved into certain bedrooms, or 2 thick mattresses can be added for young children.
Arrival, departure and vehicles:
• Stays of 6 nights or more: check-in from 5 pm and check-out no later than 9:30 am.
• Short stays: flexible check-in and check-out times, subject to availability at the farmhouse. Please contact us for further details. For departures on Fridays, check-out is no later than 11 am.
Parking is limited to 6 cars. Motorhomes are not permitted. The access road is gravelled (see photo).
A car is essential, as shops are not within walking distance.
Pets:
Pets are not permitted, except where prior permission has been granted by us. Any request must be made before booking and is subject to our approval and compliance with specific conditions, which will be explained to you if applicable.
Outdoor areas:
The farmhouse has an enclosed garden of approximately 1,400 m², bordered by a hedge and with no overlooking neighbours. Two play areas suitable for different age groups allow children to make the most of the garden, with swings, slides, a play cabin and a playhouse.
The property features a large south-facing terrace equipped with outdoor furniture, a plancha grill and a pizza oven, ideal for enjoying sociable meals with family or friends.
Between 10 pm and 9 am, outdoor conversations must be kept quiet to preserve the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings.
A noise monitor is installed beneath the terrace as a preventive and awareness-raising measure. Its night-time alert threshold is set at 80 dB (visual light signal), which is already a high noise level.
The south-facing swimming pool measures 9.5 m × 4 m, has a gently sloping floor and is equipped with sun loungers. It is available from April 1st to October 3rd and can be heated, if necessary, to between 24°C and 27°C, depending on the weather.
It is secured by a fence that can be locked, an alarm and a safety cover with tension bars.
Swimming is permitted between 9 am and 9 pm, out of respect for the neighbours. The same hours apply to pétanque.
Music is permitted during the day, provided the volume is kept low and bass is avoided.
Electric vehicle charging is available as an optional extra, using a Green'Up charging socket with a maximum power output of 2.5 kW.
Interior description:
The farmhouse has five bedrooms: four bedrooms measuring between 9 and 13 m², and one 14 m² bedroom primarily intended for children.
• 4 bedrooms measuring between 9 and 13 m², 3 of which are en-suite bedrooms (with a washbasin and a shower or bathtub in the bedroom). Two are upstairs and en-suite, while the other two are on the ground floor.
All four can be configured with either single or double beds to suit your needs (one 160 × 190 cm bed that can be separated into two 80 × 190 cm single beds). The bedroom with a bathtub is upstairs. It has a sloping ceiling, with a lower section above the head of the bed, and two small windows visible in the photos.
• The fifth bedroom is on the ground floor: 6 sleeping places in bunk beds (80 × 190 cm) + 1 extra bed if needed. It has a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet, accessible by walking through the bedroom.
• 2 separate toilets without washbasins: 1 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor. We provide 1 roll of toilet paper per toilet.
• 1 large living area of approximately 40 m², with a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table and a lounge with 3 sofas (seating for 8 adults) + 2 poufs. One of the outdoor sofas can also be brought inside if needed.
• 1 utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a second fridge-freezer.
As the house is equipped with a septic tank, the maximum occupancy of 14 people must be respected at all times, including during the day. It is therefore not possible to add sleeping arrangements in tents or motorhomes.

We had a very nice holiday week. The house is very pleasant. There are many things to do for the kids and youngsters in the house and also peaceful corners for older people. The swimming pool is top.

Mrs. Ficat was an excellent host during our stay and was very responsive when questions were asked or help was needed. The house was as advertised and had things to do for children of all ages. There is a cleaning fee and deposit, but Mrs. Ficat was very reasonable with any issues that popped up during checkout. Overall, we had a great stay and we will definitely recommend this property to future vacationers.

We were a party of 12, being 3 families staying in the villa. Overall the property is lovely, great pool and large outside table which fitted everyone round. The supermarkets are very close but you need to drive. Points to note:-
- the property isn't as big as it looks in the pictures.
- we got the impression that each bedroom had an ensuite facilities but it is just a sink and shower. There are 2 separate toilets and one as part of the ensuite off the bunk bed room.
- the main bathroom just had shower attachment over bath and would have preferred a proper shower over the bath as no-one wanted to use this and all ended sharing the 3 showers in the rooms.
- the fridge is small for a villa for 12 plus people. Although extra fridge in utility it didn't work properly.
- we wanted a villa near a village/town so we could walk out to eat - one of main criteria when looking for villa as the children are older and we wanted them to be able to potter out on their own. I think the description gives the impression that you can easily walk but we were told on arrival that we can't walk to the village as the main road isn't suitable!
- The owner is very particular we had a very long show round property and do and don't which we have never had before in all villas we have rented.
- There is large deposit to which there was then a deduction which we disputed. There is always going to be an element of wear which is built into the rental price. With banking charges, exchange rates and the deduction we ended up losing a significant amount.
- We paid an extra cleaning fee to the owner and it is the owner who is cleaning the property; We then had a further issue over deposit deduction as apparently even if you pay the cleaning fee you still supposed to clean the fridge and the oven!
It didn't spoilt the holiday but we wouldn't go back
