As close to the beach as you can get! Melonheads is a family friendly rental and has an open concept Living-Dining-Kitchen area with vaulted ceilings and breathtaking views of the ocean and beautiful beach with floor to ceiling windows. Dining Table seats 6-8 and large island seats 6. (12-14 total dining seats available) Fully equipped kitchen for those that like to stay in and make the most of your time at the beach. You will not want to miss out on this beautiful home!
There are four bedrooms on the main floor with 2.5 bathrooms: The east wing has a full bathroom and 2 bedrooms: King Bedroom and Queen /Twin bunk bedroom . The west wing has a full bathroom and 2 bedrooms: King Bedroom and King Bedroom. Upstairs you will find one Master Bedroom with views of the beach. Includes a King Bed and sitting area, and a large master bathroom with separate tub and shower.
There are four covered parking spaces at the front of the house and a large deck beneath the house that looks out onto the ocean. This makes for a fantastic area to dine, play games and relax in the shade. This area also features a fully functioning outdoor shower with hot and cold water.
Located in the desirable beach community of Surf Side Shores, just past the renowned World Class Kiva Dunes Golf course! Very close to a small local grocery/hardware/liquor and seafood shop when you don't want to drive into Gulf Shores. However, you are only 20 minutes to big chain grocery stores and restaurants. The best of both worlds. All the amenities but you are far enough away from the crowds to claim this as your own little piece of heaven.
Available for Saturday to Saturday weekly rental in the peak summer months. Minimum 4 days rental during other months, and please call if you have interest in monthly rental. No student groups are accepted at all, renters must be over 25 years to rent and prior to arrival we require a copy of the license of the person booking. Sorry, No Pets allowed and no smoking.

We loved our stay here! It was clean, the view was beautiful, and the cover porch area was the perfect place to hang out when it was raining!

We had an amazing vacation! We had ages from 4 to 62 and everyone had a wonderful time! The communication was fast and friendly and the location was amazing. Just steps from the water which was great for me as I do have some mobility issues. I was able to handle the stairs, as there are a lot, but I knew that from the pictures. Check in and out were both extremely smooth and easy. The beds were comfortable and gave everyone their own space. Unfortunately we had red/double red flags for the water for 4 of the 7 days were were there, so we couldn't get in the water much. But we still had a fantastic time as the lower deck was our favorite place! The breeze was amazing and we could relax and listen to the ocean. We loved the private beach and going crabbing every night. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved the ice maker! The view from the front windows was breathtaking! There were lots of floaties and toys in the storage area on the lower level which was great. We would have loved to have a gas grill or a charcoal grill that was clean or in better condition. We brought charcoal but found the grill was not clean and we couldn't find any tools to clean it. So we didn't grill out which would have been nice. But we definitely would return as this was a lovely place to stay and the week went by much too fast!
