Pet Friendly Property Guidelines
- Pet fee of $20 per night per pet is required. This will be added with the booking or shortly after depending on where you are booking through.
- Pets must be on leash when outside and pets cannot be left unattended outside
- Pets must be crated / kenneled when left in the home alone
- Pet waste must be picked up and disposed of
- Owner shall provide and utilize a “cover” (i.e. blanket / quilt) should the pet get onto furniture
- Excessive hair on furniture or bedding and / or not managing pet waste can result in additional fines

Getting There
Ease of access via state highways and blacktop roads. Inquire about gravel roads if concerned as the road conditions can change. Just 3 hours from St. Louis and Kansas City and a half day drive from Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas and Arkansas you have great access for families to connect and gather. International airport is in Kansas City and regional airports are available in Columbia and Springfield.

Great outdoor areas for relaxing and playing, even in the rain! Hardly and steps to the dock. All bedrooms and baths are on the same level. And so many soap and paper products are provided. What a convenience! Thanks for the welcome gifts! Kitchen could use a couple more wine glasses (lol!). The upper rack of the dishwasher needs to be looked at and just fyi, there is no garbage disposal. Overall this was a clean, nice, convenient place. Appreciate all the amenities.

The place was very comfortable and spacious, and we enjoyed our stay! I would have given a 5-star review, but we were woken up at 7:15 one morning when the lawn service decided to cut the grass at the cabin. I contacted management that morning but did not hear back from them. Otherwise, they were very responsive.

Overall everything was great. Only thing I wasn’t happy about was no boat ramp access which wasn’t big deal. 20 min drive 15 min by water. Might find bigger property with same people for next year if we have family come down but if not definitely getting this one again!
