Welcome to Ciao Bella. This beautiful home with refreshing saltwater pool located just steps from the beach at one of the best parts of East Beach.
It Is beautiful here. It only takes three minutes to walk from the salt water pool gate past the palm trees and live oaks to the sand dunes. The only you have to do is follow the footprints and beach cart tracks to the ocean.
THE SPACE
At 10th Street, the beach is uncrowded, restful and about as wide as a football field at low tide. Shrimp boats and large ocean going ships pass by soundlessly on the horizon. People are sunning, walking, jogging, fishing, sailing, flying kites. And always, the sound of the surf heard at the beach and the house. This is the perfect place for families with children.
If you love nature this is the place. Bring binoculars. Bird watching from the beach, and from Gould's Inlet north to Sea Island. Thousands of gulls, sand pipers, and pelicans. Plenty of songbirds, too. And plenty of history on the island and along the coast.
There are three spacious outside areas for lounging and enjoying family and friends. The salt water pool is hard to beat, surrounded by teak chairs and tables and umbrellas. It is sunny all day. The second level deck faces west and is shaded by a canopy of live oak trees, a great place for lunch just off the kitchen with its indoor dining room for eight. There is little traffic here, tucked away on the extreme east end of 10th street at the fourth house from the dunes.
The open floor plan on the second floor, which opens onto a large deck, makes this a great place for entertaining, moving easily from indoors to outdoors. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. And five full bathrooms are bonus at the beach.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $100/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

We had a fabulous time in St. Simons with our son and daughter, their spouses and our grandchildren. It was their first trip to St Simons. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the beach every day. The proximity to the beach and village, especially with bikes, made it special as biking was daily thing to dinner and the village. The property is in a perfect location and a beautiful neighborhood. I was impressed that each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom as well as full bath on the 2nd floor living, kitchen and dining rooms. Wood Deck and backyard improvement is needed. A new kitchen refrigerator and minor repairs would add greatly to the property.

Really nice property with 3 true levels to give everyone privacy. House is exceptionally well equipped with just about anything that you forgot to bring. Kitchen is smallish and not ideal for extended cooking. Pool is small but well kept.

My group of friends (55 ladies) enjoyed our stay very much. It was what we expected and we considered it a good value. The house was clean and well stocked with essentials. We had everything we needed. Convenient beach access too; only a 5 minute walk. It’s a quiet older neighborhood, don’t expect to be in the middle of a shopping and dining district.
