A Water Enthusiast’s Paradise on the San Jacinto River! Enjoy our private boat launch with easy water access—no crowds. Perfect for a relaxing getaway, staycation, or family retreat. Swim, fish, sunbathe, and take in beautiful sunsets by the water. Guests also enjoy shared amenities including an outdoor pool, mini golf, basketball/pickleball court, and playground. Jet skis and boat are available for rent to make your stay even more fun and memorable.
We believe in giving our guests complete privacy to enjoy their stay. We offer a seamless self check-in process and will not be present at the property. However, we are always available via the messaging app or phone if you have any questions or need local recommendations.
You must be able to download an app in order to access the gate. Without this app you will not be able to access the property.
This waterfront home on San Jacinto River Lake sits on a private 3 acre gated lot aside the San jacinto River lake in Highlands, TX. Just a few minuets drive from Xtreme Off Road Park, Crosby Baytown, and Houston. Approximately a 30 min drive from Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) , Hobby Airport (HOU) and Kemah boardwalk
Located in an older little quiet town with a "country" vibe. This an amazing property that was renovated from a bar / marina and has TONS of history. This is a perfect place to bring the family together.
Our property includes access to a private boat launch and a range of outdoor amenities shared with one other house and multiple pods on-site. Bring your boat or jet ski for a day on the water, or enjoy fishing along the river. Relax on the covered deck with beautiful waterfront and sunset views. Guests also have access to shared amenities including a pool, mini golf, basketball/pickleball court, and playground—perfect for all ages. Jet skis and a boat are also available for rent to make your stay even more exciting.
While we do allow kids and consider the house kid friendly, there are a few thing you may need to keep in mind when bringing smaller kids . Here are a few but not limited to; The porch does have cable railing with large gap and is slightly elevated. There are larger hills and unlevel/drop off areas on the land . You will be required to watch your children at all time and do not leave them unattended. We have never had any problems with our own children, but wanted to bring this to your attention for everyone's safety.
This cozy home nicely sleeps up to 8 people with 3 bedrooms and pull out sectional in the living room.

SECURITY CAMERAS / TECHNOLOGY- There are six outdoor security cameras monitoring the porch, gate, parking area, pool, and shared outdoor amenities. We also use an occupancy/noise monitor. If you’re not comfortable with these devices, please do not proceed with the booking.
Primary booking guest must be at least 25 years old, present at the time of check-in and during the entire reservation.
A government issued photo ID is required to be sent to confirm your identity for booking.
SECURITY CAMERAS / TECHNOLOGY- There are six outdoor security cameras monitoring the porch, gate, parking area, pool, and shared outdoor amenities. We also use an occupancy/noise monitor. If you’re not comfortable with these devices, please do not proceed with the booking.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED!
There is an additional charge of $30/pp each day for any guest over the total amount of 8. If you plan to have 9+ total guest on the property at any given time (this includes visitors), let us know and we send you a request for the additional guest. (Remember we do have an occupancy monitor)
***Bring water shoes and life jackets for anyone planning on entering river.
You will need to bring towels to dry off with if you plan on getting in the river (we suggest a darker color because the water will stain anything light)
While we do not allow parties or large events we do not mind company retreats, etc.. with prior authorization. No more the max occupancy allowed.

Our stay was great only flaws that I can complain about the gate gave of trouble continuosly #5 & #8 didnt wrk well and since the code needed both we got stuck at the gate numerous times and the dryer didnt work which made keeping clean towels for 4 women very difficult for a 4 night stay. Also the other properties were listed in the description so we werent aware of the opportunity for multiple parties to stay at the same time. Overall great place & great host will definitely stay again

Aaron is an amazing Host. He went above and beyond our expectation without invading our privacy. This place is pure SERENITY!!!!! Absolutely the most comfortable spot we have VRBO'd in many years. DON'T pass this property up! Thank you Aaron. We are coming back soon.

The inside of the house was as pictured and very clean. We had issues with the tvs in some of the rooms connecting to the WiFi provided. The shower head needs replacing and some little things like doors sticking. We also were given multiple gate codes. It ended up being that one was to enter the property and the other was used to leave. My biggest issue was it’s an EXTREMELY shared property. There were about 10 pods on the property and I felt quite unsafe with my small kids there. One pod was almost within reaching distance of the house. Most of the windows were also unlocked upon arriving. I would not say this is a family destination at all and the neighborhood leading up to the property was not the best either. The house would have been much more enjoyable if the pods were not on the property. It’s a beautiful view but the pods block a lot of it.
