Place itself could be great but terrible cleanliness soured it

The place itself is amazing. Good number of bedrooms, and they are all spacious. The kitchen is also spacious and there is plenty of pots pans and cutlery to use if you want to. The location is also good with enough on street parking. Never really struggled to find a place to park. Every bedroom has a bathroom too which is amazing

Now onto why I found this overall disappointing and would not recommend. The cleanliness of the linens was pretty terrible. On check in, we went and found hairs and glitter on one bed and a spider on the other. I also found a razor on the floor under a piece of furniture. I'm also recovering from a broken ankle so needed to use the handrails going upstairs. I don't weigh much but the handrail came off whilst using it causing me to almost fall off the stairs. The bathrooms appear to not have been mopped either. More hairs on the toilets and if you rub a tissue on the ground a lot of grime and dirt comes off. The showers are slow to drain, and flushing the toilets doesn't fully clear away mess even after two or three flushes. We did get £35 compensation but obviously would not have booked in the first place if we realised how unclean it would be
