À propos de cette location de vacances
Escape to the heart of Pennsylvania's countryside at Wrap-A-Round Farmhouse, a cozy and spacious 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath getaway with acres of mountain beauty to see. Whether you're sipping morning coffee on the porch swing or grilling dinner under the stars, this farmhouse invites you to slow down and soak in the natural splendor of the Alleghenies.
Inside the home, you'll find hardwood floors throughout, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, modern appliances, and a bright, open layout that makes gathering easy and comfortable. Each of the three bedrooms is designed with comfort in mind, offering cozy beds, soft linens, and peaceful views. With 2.5 bathrooms, there's plenty of space for everyone to refresh after a day outdoors.
The signature feature of the home is its large wrap-around porch, partially covered to allow for both sun and shade. Whether you're enjoying a meal at the outdoor dining table, relaxing on the porch swing, or grilling your favorite dish as the sun sets over the mountains, the porch is where guests tend to linger longest. It’s the perfect place to start your morning with a cup of coffee or wind down in the evening with a glass of wine.
Just steps away, our fireplace area invites one to come and sit for a spell. Hand hewn logs for benches and a tastefully designed fire pit keeps you outdoors long into the night. We provide the firewood.
While the setting feels wonderfully secluded, you’re just minutes from local attractions. Shawnee State Park offers hiking, fishing, and kayaking on its large lake, while State Game Lands nearby provide opportunities for hunting and nature walks. Bedford Springs Resort, with its historic charm, golf course, and spa, is a short drive away. History lovers will enjoy visiting Old Bedford Village, and nearby orchards, wineries, and markets offer a taste of small-town Pennsylvania. There’s quick access to Route 30 and I-76 – making day trips and weekend escapes easy.
Whether you spend your days exploring the outdoors or curled up with a book on the porch, this farmhouse offers a space to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.

This property is even more attractive than it appears online! The kitchen and living areas are very spacious and well appointed. The entire home is spotlessly clean and welcoming. Thoughtful, unexpected amenities were a nice surprise, like cozy throws, many books, games, and magazines, and a bedroom "sound machine". We loved the many options for outdoor eating and seating, especially the porch swing and beautiful fire pit area. Our family enjoyed a picnic at Shawnee Lake, then a covered bridge tour, and an "Ice Cream" ride on the old Everett Railroad steam train, all followed by games in the farmhouse's delightful sunroom and wine or smores around the fire pit. This facility is perfect for a family reunion, a girls' getaway weekend, a multigenerational family gathering, or anyone who wants a peaceful, warm, "connected" experience. Our only caveat would be the low, but awkward, transitional "step" between the kitchen and living room, and between the bathtub and floor in the upstairs bath, and the " tall person duck your head" ceiling at the bottom of the stairs, but these are extremely minor imperfections, when compared with the overall, comfortable, lovely stay at the Wraparound Farmhouse. Our family is already looking forward to our next stay!

We had an excellent stay. The host was very communicative, and quick to respond. The house was clean, open, great lighting, with all the things you could want and more, in the kitchen. The bedrooms were conformable, with quality bedding and pillows.Plenty of seating and great country views of rolling hills and small mountains. Would stay again!
