The atmosphere of this small and original village is unique and wonderful! It seems to be in a place out of time, yet you are in the ancient heart of Trastevere. Located in the center of Rome, located in the heart of Trastevere, but in the quietest area, in a green oasis, it offers accommodation with city views and free WiFi, all just 1 km from Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, 1 km from the Vatican, 1 km from Piazza San Pietro and 700mt from Castel Sant'Angelo.
The apartment, of 60 square meters, furnished in a modern style, on the 1st floor (no elevator but light and comfortable flight of stairs) is very welcoming and bright and extremely quiet, includes 1 romantic double bedroom in the mezzanine, with 1 other single bed and wardrobe downstairs in the same room, a delightful living room, with dining area, double sofa bed and flat-screen TV, a kitchen equipped with refrigerator, oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave, and breakfast corner, and 1 bathroom with shower. There are smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers for your safety.
Sheets and towels are included. It also offers a delightful veranda, where you can have breakfast, enjoy a cocktail at sunset, or have lunch and dinner in the open air!!At your check in you can pay in cash

Very centrally located, walking distance to all the major sites. Quiet area yet close to restaurants, coffeeshops and small grocery stores. Hosts were very responsive. Air conditioning was key in Rome in July.

We loved our stay at Maria Rita’s place. My family and I stayed here for 3 nights and we were very comfortable. The apartment was clean and fully stocked. And the AC worked wonderfully. The neighborhood was great. It was very quiet and we felt safe walking around at night. Also, there are a few bus stops nearby which made getting around the city that much easier. A few tips to know about the apartment: for those with mobility issues be aware that there are stairs leading up to the apartment and also inside the apartment. Also, the shower is a little tricky getting out as the tub is a bit high. Another tip: the restaurant around the corner is fabulous. Should you find yourself in Rome I highly recommend staying at Maria Rita’s place. I can’t wait to come back!

Very nice place on a charming, quiet block. Walking distance from the Tiber, the center of the city, restaurants, stores, bus stops.
